Toronto, Canada – Join Four Seasons at Wilket Creek Park for the 2024 Terry Fox Run to Raise Funds for Cancer Research

Four Seasons is once again inviting runners, walkers, and supporters to join their Chairman and Founder, Isadore Sharp, along with hundreds of corporate and hotel employees, for the 44th Annual Terry Fox Run. The event will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Wilket Creek Park in North York, with the aim of raising funds for cancer research and continuing Terry Fox’s lasting legacy.

Honoring Terry’s Legacy

Since Terry Fox’s remarkable Marathon of Hope, which began 44 years ago, Four Seasons has been an unwavering supporter of cancer research initiatives. This year’s run at Wilket Creek Park, one of Canada’s largest, will draw thousands of participants, all eager to contribute to this important cause.

Event Details and How to Participate

The 2024 Terry Fox Run will offer participants the chance to run, walk, or cycle along 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km routes. Four Seasons employees, alongside their families, will volunteer to help with registration, food and drink service, and children’s activities.

• Date: Sunday, September 15, 2024
• Location: Wilket Creek Park, at Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue
• Opening Ceremonies: Begin at 8:20 AM, with the run officially starting at 9:05 AM
• Routes: 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km options
• Entertainment: Music by Shoemaker Levee and singer-songwriter Andrea Ramolo
• Special Guests: Terry Team member Owen Brady, a childhood cancer survivor, will share his inspiring story
• Event Features: Complimentary BBQ, children’s activities, parking shuttles, and more

Participants can register online or at the event starting at 8:00 AM. Registration is free, and everyone is welcome to attend and support this important cause.

Since its inception, the Wilket Creek Park Terry Fox Run has raised over CAD 13 million, with every dollar going directly to cancer research through the Terry Fox Foundation. Last year alone, the event raised an impressive CAD 677,351. The funds support essential research initiatives such as precision oncology for children, genetic studies on hereditary cancers, and innovative treatments for leukemia and brain cancers.
