Hilton Collaborates with Lotte Card and American Express to Launch Co-Branded Credit Cards in South Korea

Hilton has partnered with Lotte Card and American Express to debut two new co-branded Private Label Credit Cards (PLCCs) tailored specifically for South Korea residents. The Hilton Honors Amex Premium Card and the Hilton Honors Amex Card provide cardholders with an enhanced travel experience and exclusive access to the Hilton Honors loyalty program.

Exclusive Rewards and Benefits

Cardholders earn Hilton Honors Bonus Points through everyday spending, including purchases at supermarkets, restaurants, and department stores. Additionally, eligible purchases at over 8,300 Hilton properties across 24 brands—including Hilton Grand Vacations in 138 countries—qualify for Bonus Points.

These points can be redeemed for complimentary stays at Hilton properties worldwide or exchanged for exclusive travel and lifestyle experiences through the Hilton Honors Experiences platform. Perks also include opportunities for upgrades to Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond status, complimentary weekend night certificates, and other valuable benefits depending on the card type and spending activity.

Expanding Opportunities for South Korean Travelers

This initiative is part of Hilton’s strategy to cater to the growing demand for outbound travel in South Korea. Heather Laverne, Hilton’s vice president and head of international co-brands, explained:

To mark the launch, new cardholders can access exclusive welcome bonuses, including complimentary weekend night certificates and accelerated paths to higher Hilton Honors status. These offers are available through January 31, 2025, providing an incentive for early adopters.
