Born on May 26, 1944, in Bahrain, Almoayyed earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough College in the UK in 1966. He joined Gulf Hotels Group’s board in 1974, assuming the role of chairman in 2002. Under his stewardship, Gulf Hotels Group grew from strength to strength, evolving into a benchmark of excellence in the region’s hospitality industry.

Established in 1967 as Bahrain Hotels Company, Gulf Hotels Group aimed to elevate the standards of luxury on the island.
