Wyndham Expands in South Korea with New Trademark Collection Hotel
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has introduced its Trademark Collection brand to South Korea with the launch of La Vie D’or Hotel and Resort, expanding the company’s footprint in the region to over 30 hotels. Located in Hwaseong-si, this serene resort offers both leisure and business travelers a unique experience, featuring a nine-hole golf course, fine dining options, and proximity to attractions like the Yungneung and Geolleung Royal Tombs and Yongjusa Temple. The resort also caters to corporate guests with conference spaces and easy access to major business hubs, such as Samsung Electronics and Hyundai-Kia Motors.
The opening of La Vie D’or is part of Wyndham’s strategy to tap into South Korea’s growing tourism industry, which is set to reach $13.66 billion by 2024. The resort’s tranquil setting, just 30 minutes from Seoul, combined with modern amenities, positions it as a prime destination for both local and international travelers. This move further strengthens Wyndham’s presence in the Asia Pacific region, offering independent hotel owners greater visibility and a broader customer base.
