Accor Strengthens Australia Presence with Major Partnership Renewals of Over 40 Hotels
Accor has solidified its presence in Australia by renewing partnership agreements for over 40 hotels, representing 5,500 rooms across the country. Since 2022, Accor Pacific partners have invested more than $450 million in upgrades, ensuring their properties remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
The renewal marks the continuation of Accor’s long-standing partnership with Silversea Investments, including the refurbishment of Novotel Sydney Parramatta and the rebranding of Mercure Sydney Parramatta to Novotel Sydney Rosehill. Managed by Trilogy Hotels, these properties are set to benefit from the region’s growing infrastructure and the future Western Sydney Airport, scheduled to open in 2026.
Accor’s partnership with the luxurious Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort on the Sunshine Coast has also been extended, with the resort planning significant enhancements to elevate its luxury offerings.
Accor has been a key player in the Australian hospitality scene for over 30 years, boasting a network of over 350 hotels. Adrian Williams, COO of Accor Pacific, emphasized the group’s focus on fostering long-term relationships with hotel owners and providing strong local support through its extensive operational network. With more than 300 team members supporting its hotels, Accor continues to offer owners a robust platform to drive above-market performance.
In addition to its managed properties, Accor has developed a comprehensive hotel franchise platform that offers flexible support to franchise owners, allowing them to tailor operations to suit their business needs. The group’s diverse portfolio spans 19 brands across luxury, mid-range, and economy hotels throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia.
