Hilton’s Strategic Move: Expanding NoMad Hotels Globally
Hilton reports that around 10 hotels are already in “advanced stages of discussion” with Sydell, focusing on high-end markets worldwide. The NoMad brand struggled during the pandemic, leading to the closure of its Los Angeles property, and the Las Vegas site is not included in the deal. However, Hilton’s commercial strength is poised to help NoMad penetrate international markets beyond its flagship location in London.
Luxury hotels have remained resilient, boasting impressive average daily rates and attracting customers less impacted by economic challenges. Hilton’s recent collaboration with Small Luxury Hotels of the World underscores the company’s confidence in the sector’s robust performance.
