Radisson Individuals Re-Launches Under Choice Hotels as Boutique-Focused Soft Brand
Choice Hotels International, Inc. has officially re-launched Radisson Individuals in the Americas, positioning it as an upper-upscale soft brand that caters to full-service, boutique, and independent hotels. This significant move follows Choice’s acquisition of Radisson Hotels Americas in 2022 and marks a key step in expanding its reach in the high-end hospitality segment.
“Choice is not the same company we were a few years ago,” said Patrick Pacious, president and CEO of Choice Hotels International. “We’ve seen tremendous excitement for our upscale brands, including Radisson and Radisson Blu. This re-launch offers developers of boutique hotels access to our robust distribution network and the chance to retain their properties’ individuality while benefiting from our scale.”
Since its global debut in 2020, Radisson Individuals has rapidly grown, with over 30 properties launched worldwide. In the Americas alone, 15 properties have been franchised by Choice Hotels, providing unique experiences that blend regional flavors, eye-catching architecture, and high-end amenities like pools, spas, and fitness centers.
With the re-launch, Choice Hotels is leveraging its powerful distribution engine, which has already driven a 32% year-over-year increase in direct bookings across Radisson and other high-end brands in its portfolio. The company is also integrating Radisson’s strong 89% brand recognition into its system, providing hotel owners a valuable opportunity to grow while maintaining their hotels’ independent charm.
